The semi-live session on “RIRS with coagulation-guided fragment extraction using a hydrogel” was presented by Dr M. Straub and Prof J. Rassweiler at the 64th Annual Meeting of the Southwest German Society of Urology. At the FARCO stand, questions about our products, including the innovative mediNiK® hydrogel method were answered.

The annual meeting of the AUA, the American Urological Association, was held in Antonio, Texas. In addition to an extensive and varied scientific program, the latest innovations in urological medicine and many exciting new products from the exhibiting companies in the field of urology were also on the agenda during these days. In a semi-live session, Dr Thomas Amiel presented our innovative mediNiK®hydrogel method, which increases the effectiveness of endoscopic kidney stone removal after lithotripsy, and invited participants to our FARCO stand for debriefing

The Bonn Forum is an important event focussing on the discussion and exchange of information on recurrent urolithiasis. A FARCO team was present on site with an exhibition stand and the mediNiK® dummy. In a presentation by Prof Neisius (Brothers of Mercy Hospital, Trier), the effectiveness and benefits of mediNiK® were discussed.

The 39. This year’s EAU Annual Congress took place in Paris. The innovative hydrogel method was presented in a semi-live session with Dr Thomas Amiel, TUM Munich, on 6 April. There was also a product demonstration at the FARCO stand with the opportunity to ask our experts questions on site

For the second time, the EAU Sections of Uro-Technology and Urolithiasis were brought together for a three-day event in collaboration with the EAU Robotic Urology Section and the EAU Working Group on Paediatric Urology. Among other things, the numerous visitors were able to watch live how the innovative hydrogel method mediNiK® hydrogel method was used for residue-free stone removal after ureteroscopic laser lithotripsy. Top surgeons Dr M. Straub and Prof. Dr J. Rassweiler as well as Dr T. Amiel removed the remaining stone fragments during a live operation using the new surgical procedure.

Around 260 doctors came together to discuss the latest surgical techniques and learn from one other. FARCO was on site to present the new mediNiK® hydrogel method for residue-free stone removal after ureteroscopic laser lithotripsy.
